We are holding a Gaming night this Friday May 2 at 6:30pm.  (This used to be called Gameboy Club).  Come in and share games and have fun with other gaming enthusiasts.  You can only bring 3 games with your handheld and EVERYTHING must be marked with your name.

On Wednesday May 7 at 6:30pm, Eric Wilcox will be sharing his art of boondoggling.  Join us as he shows us how to do it and make something to take home.

On Monday May 12 at 6:30pm join us for a Masters of Karate presentation!  Join Master Beth Fraggle from Masters of Karate in Cazenovia as some of her students demonstrate this art.

Our Kiddies Korner, preschool story hour, will meet again on Tuesday May 13 for “Don’t forget to eat your vegetables!”  Children ages toddler to preschool are welcome to attend.  Story hour meets every other Tuesday in the program room at 10:30am.  If you can’t make it that day, join us May 27 for “I Scream for Ice Cream!”  Come hear songs, stories and more!

Join the “Share your Own Book” book talk on Friday May 16 at 7pm.  Read a book (or two) and come and share with the rest of the group. Roxanna Pisiak will facilitate this discussion.  What a way to get a list of great books to read this summer!

On Saturday May 17 from 1pm to 4pm (or longer) we are having Scrapbooking at the library!  Need to find time to scrapbook?  In a rut and need new ideas?  Bring your tools and pages and join us!  Work on your current project with other fellow scrapbookers in the area.

We are starting a graphic novel collection.  If you have any rated G or PG graphic novels you would like to donate to this collection please see me.

Lots of new books are being added to our shelves (and lots are getting checked out too!).  Some are: Third Circle by Amanda Quick, Miracle at Speedy Motors by Alexander McCall Smith, Hold Tight by Harlen Coben, Santa Fe Dead by Stuart Woods, Hollywood Crows by Joseph Wambaugh, Lost Souls by Lisa Jackson, Blue-Eyed Devil by Lisa Kleypas, Mistaken Identity by Don VanRyn, Hokus Pokus by Fern Michaels, Silver Swan by Benjamin Black and Certain Girls by Jennifer Weiner.

With the weather getting warmer, grab a few good books and head outside to read.  We are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday 10am to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.
