With the gas prices on the rise again and with everything else getting more costly because of it, don’t forget to utilize your public library!  Everything we house (and that’s over 16,000 items now) is FREE!!  We don’t just have books anymore.  Drop in and get a movie for the weekend, utilize the public computers, bring your family in for some quality activities, get the most out of the only place that isn’t raising their prices!

And, it’s important to mention, if we don’t have what you are looking for we can get it for you!  We are a member of the Mid York Library System so we have access to 42 other libraries.  We can have an item you are looking for dropped off at our library for you to pick up and again, it’s FREE!!  If no one in the member libraries has your item, we then head to the 50 states!  We take pride in never giving up and we can find what you are looking for!

Join us this Friday April 25 at 6:30pm as we look at Earth Day and what it means.  Come in and learn about our Earth and how to protect it.  Hear some stories and create some interesting Earth items!

On Monday April 28 at 6:30pm, join The Rogers Environmental Center as they share with us Mammals!  Touch and see some mammal skins, skulls and more!

Our Kiddies Korner, preschool story hour, will meet again on Tuesday April 29 for “Abracadabra”.  Children ages toddler to preschool are welcome to attend.  Story hour meets every other Tuesday in the program room at 10:30am.  If you can’t make it that day, join us May 13 for “Don’t forget to eat your vegetables!”  Come hear songs, stories and more!

We are holding a Gaming night on Friday May 2 at 6:30pm.  (This used to be called Gameboy Club).  Come in and share games and have fun with other gaming enthusiasts.  You can only bring 3 games with your handheld and EVERYTHING must be marked with your name.

On Wednesday May 7 at 6:30pm, Eric Wilcox will be sharing his art of boondoggling.  Join us as he shows us how to do it and make something to take home.

We are starting a graphic novel collection.  If you have any rated G or PG graphic novels you would like to donate to this collection please see me.

With the weather getting warmer, grab a few good books and head outside to read.  We are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday 10am to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.
