Our third annual Easter Basket Raffle has begun. We are raffling off a children’s basket and
an adult one. The children’s basket is on display now. The adult
one will be delivered a day or two before the drawing as it’s a flowering

On that note, it took me a bit to decide how to write this next part. It is with great sadness that I must say farewell to one of the most wonderful women I have ever met, Bette Slocum. Many of you have stories to share about Bette and her time at the circulation desk. Bette always wore a smile, she was always willing to help, was always there if you needed her. She was more than a library aide; she was a friend, a second mother and someone I am cherished to have in my life. I, and the entire Library staff and trustees, wish Bette the best in her retirement! We hope she isn’t a stranger to the library!!! We are starting a graphic novel collection. If you have any rated G or PG graphic novels you would like to donate to this collection please see me. We are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday |
