The Library’s theme for March and April is Nature.  Come to our programs on nature, recycling, Earth Day, and lots more!

Our Kiddies Korner, preschool story hour, will meet again on Tuesday March 4 for “Lions and Lambs”.  Children ages toddler to preschool are welcome to attend.  Story hour meets every other Tuesday in the program room at 10:30am.  Come hear songs, stories and more!  If you can’t make it that day, join us Tuesday March 18 for Hippity Hop.

On Wednesday March 5 at 6:30pm, we will be having Recycling Night at the Library.  Bring the kids in to learn about recycling, read some books and make a recycled project to take home!

March’s book talk on the 12^th at 12:15pm will be Sharon Creech’s book, Walk Two Moons.  Copies can be picked up anytime at the circulation desk.

On Wednesday March 12 at 6:30pm, join us for Dinosaur Night!   Come and learn all about Dinosaurs and the Prehistoric Earth.  Join us for stories and other fun things pertaining to these creatures!

On Friday March 14 at 6:30pm, join us for Hippity Hoppity, Easter’s on its Way!  Come celebrate Easter with us as we read stories, do some crafts and learn about the various different icons of Easter.

Until Saturday March 15 we will be doing a fundraiser for our building restoration project.  It’s called “Valentines for our Library”.  It’s really simple.  See any trustee, stop into the library or see me and purchase a valentine for the library.  Different monetary amounts ($1, $5, $10, $20, $50) mean a different colored heart.  All hearts with your name on it will be displayed in the program room during the fundraiser.  Help us rebuild your library one heart at a time!

Its tax time again!  We do not have any forms here at the library but we can guide you in the right direction online.  If you are looking for a particular form we can find it for you.  We can even print them for you for $0.10 a page.   If you need the websites to access the forms at home or would like the numbers to call and get your own through the mail, check out our website and click on “Income Tax Information” on our home page, www.midyork.org/morrisville.

Come grab some good books for those cold weather nights ahead!  We are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday 10am to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.
