Until the end of February we will be hosting an animal needs drive to benefit Wanderer’s Rest.  There are several items they could use for cats and dogs.  Go to our website and click on “Animal Supply Drive” for a description of items for donation.  Drop donated items off at the library during library hours.  Thank you for your help and for thinking of our furry friends this winter season!

Calling all teens!!!!  We are having a karaoke night this Friday February 23 at 6:30pm.  Stop into the library and try your hand at karaoke!  Wow your friends and have a ball!!  Feel free to bring CD's of your own!

On Monday February 26 at 6:30pm, Natalie from Holly’s Garden will be here to teach adults how to make a floral arrangement.  It will cost $15.50 per person (for the materials) and you must register at the circulation desk by Saturday February 24 at 4pm.  Everyone completing the program will have a floral arrangement (that they made) to take home.

Kiddies Korner will be about Dinosaurs on Tuesday February 27 at 10:30am.  Bring your toddler or preschool child in for stories, songs, activities and more!  If you can’t make that day, join them on Tuesday March 13 for sheep.  Copies of the complete story hour schedule can be obtained at the circulation desk.

Hoodie Hoo night is coming to the library on Wednesday February 28 at 6:30pm.  Do you know what hoodie hoo is (means)?  Better bring the family in that night to find out!  Lots of fun and activities to be had!

On Monday March 5 from 1-3pm we are having a Telephone tax relief program for Seniors.  Anyone who has had long distance telephone service in the last three years and/or, if you have not filed income taxes, is eligible for this $30-60 rebate.  Age 60 and over can stop into the library during this time for assistance in completing this rebate.

Also on Monday March 5 Jim Ford will be at the library at 6:30pm.  View a slide show and hear him talk about his 4 volume history called FOOTPRINTS THROUGH TIME. At this time only Journal One, 1785-1881 is available, but the others will be published throughout the rest of this year. The first journal will be on display for purchasing and for autographing tonight.

On Friday March 9 at 6:30pm we will be having Card Game night at the library.  Bring your favorite card game and join others.  Refreshments will be provided.

On Saturday March 10 from 12-2pm join us in the Library’s Program Room for the ER Andrews Elementary Art Reception.  See the beautiful artwork on display and meet some of the artists.

Its tax time!  If you need the websites to access the forms at home or would like the numbers to call and get your own through the mail, check out our website and click on “Income Tax Information” on our home page.

We are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday 10am to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.
