Did you know that February is Pet Responsibility Month?  The entire month of February we will be hosting an animal needs drive to benefit Wanderer’s Rest.  There are several items they could use for cats and dogs.  Go to our website and click on “Animal Supply Drive” for a description of items for donation.  Drop donated items off at the library during library hours.  Thank you for your help and for thinking of our furry friends this winter season!

Kiddies Korner will be about Hugs and Kisses on Tuesday February 13 at 10:30am.  Bring your toddler or preschool child in for stories, songs, activities and more!  If you can’t make that day, join them on Tuesday February 27 for dinosaurs.  Copies of the complete story hour schedule can be obtained at the circulation desk.

Join us for Twister Night this Friday February 9 at 6:30pm.    Play twister and other movement games.  Refreshments will be provided.

Gameboy Club will meet on Saturday February 10 from 11-1pm. Come in and share games and have fun with other Gameboy enthusiasts.  You can only bring 3 games with your gameboy and EVERYTHING must be marked with your name.  Bring a nutritious snack to share as well.  

The next adult book talk will be on Wednesday February 14 at 12pm.  The book being discussed is Anne Tyler’s Digging to America.  Copies can still be picked up at the circulation desk now.  Feel free to bring a light lunch or snack too.

We will be having a Valentine’s Party for families on Wednesday February 14 at 6:30pm.  Come and have a lot of fun with us!!!  Eat some yummy snacks, play games, do some crafts and more!

Due to a grant from the Ezra Jack Keats Foundation we are creating a puppet show of his book, Whistle For Willie.  The young patrons have created the script, made the puppets and are almost ready to perform!  Come see the show on Friday February 16 at 6:30pm. 

Need to find time to scrapbook?  In a rut and need new ideas?  Bring your tools and pages and join the club on Saturday February 17 at 1pm!  Work on your current project with other fellow scrapbookers in the area.

The Library Board of Trustees will meet on Tuesday February 20 at 6:30pm.  The public is welcome to attend.

Calling all teens!!!!  We are having a karaoke night on Friday February 23 at 6:30pm.  Stop into the library and try your hand at karaoke!  Wow your friends and have a ball!!  Feel free to bring CD's of your own!

Its tax time again already!  We do not have any forms here at the library but we can guide you in the right direction online.  If you are looking for a particular form we can find it for you.  We can even print them for you for $0.10 a page.   If you need the websites to access the forms at home or would like the numbers to call and get your own through the mail, check out our website and click on “Income Tax Information” on our home page.

REMINDER:  We will be closed on Monday February 19 to observe President’s Day.  We will reopen Tuesday at 10am.
