“L is for Library” is the theme we are celebrating this month and next!  Be sure to come and participate in some exciting programs around this theme!

Our Kiddies Korner, preschool story hour, will meet again on Tuesday January 22 for “Brrr, its Cold!”.  Children ages toddler to preschool are welcome to attend.  Story hour meets every other Tuesday in the program room at 10:30am.  Come hear songs, stories and more!  If you can’t make that week, join them February 5 for “Valentine’s Day.”

On Friday January 25 at 6:30pm Family Bingo is back at the library.  Bring the family in for a game or two.  All kids are guaranteed a prize and adults play for fun.

Join Sue Greenhagen on Monday January 28 at 6:30pm as she shares with us the history of the library.  After, a brief tour of the library will be given by me.  Come learn about our beloved building!

On Friday February 1 at noon come join us for a Legislative Brunch.  Meet some of our legislators and share with them some of your great library stories!  Come show them how much you love our library!

The following Friday February 8 at 6:30pm is Family Movie Night.  Another, newly released movie is on the slate for showing that evening.  Join us as we watch two dads go from running a daycare center in the first movie to now a summer camp.  Enjoy this hilarious movie with your family.  Bring something comfy to sit in and popcorn will be provided.

Please note:  We will be closed on Monday January 21 to observe Martin Luther King Jr.  We will reopen Tuesday the 22 at 10am.

We are currently looking for volunteers.  If you have a couple hours free on a Wednesday afternoon please contact the Library Manager.  We are looking for someone to shelve books, call patrons to notify them of items being held and help out with any other activities as needed.

As for new books, we have TONS of them!  Some are: Shadow Music by Julie Garwood, Diablerie by Walter Mosley, Last Call by James Grippando, Rhett Butler’s People by Donald McCaig, There’s No Place Like Here by Cecelia Ahern, Between Sundays by Karen Kingsbury, Rescuing Sprite by Mark Levin, Boom by Tom Brokaw, Dark of the Moon by John Sandford and 30,000 years of Art.

We are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday 10am to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.
