“L is for Library” is the theme we are going to celebrate in January and February. Most of our programs will be about the library or things that are happening at the library. Be sure to come in and participate in some of the wonderful programs of the New Year. And, last week I was informed that NYLA, the New York Library Association, has chosen our library to be on their homepage as the Library Photo of the Month. Check it out the entire month of January at www.nyla.org. This Friday January 11 at The Library Board of Trustees will meet on Tuesday January 15 at On Wednesday January 16 at Our Kiddies Korner, preschool story hour, will meet again on Tuesday January
22 for “Brrr, its Cold!”. Children ages
toddler to preschool are welcome to attend.
Story hour meets every other Tuesday in the program room at On Friday January 25 at Please note: We will be closed on
Monday January 21 to observe Martin Luther King Jr. We will reopen Tuesday the 22 at Currently in our program room we have Lily Kutzuba’s fashion. Stop in now and see the wonderful array of clothing and work she has done. In the front foyer display case we have Jennifer Forward’s cow collection part 3. Both will be on display the entire month of January and part of February. We are currently looking for volunteers. If you have a couple hours free on a Wednesday afternoon please contact the Library Manager. We are looking for someone to shelve books, call patrons to notify them of items being held and help out with any other activities as needed. As for new books, we have TONS of them! Due to space, I will mention them next week. We are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday 10am to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm. |
