Mike Lupica is a Journalist who writes the "Sporting Life" column for Esquire Magazine. He also has written for Newsday, the LA Times, and several other major papers. He has appeared on ESPN sports talk shows and is currently heard on the Imus in the Morning Radio Show. There are 4 books that he has written with others such as Reggie Jackson and Bill Parcells.

Sally Elizabeth Allen Mandel was born in Oneida in 1944. She graduated from the U. of Rochester in 1966. Then she married Barry Mandel, a lawyer in 1967. A descendant of the Oneida Community, she credits this heritage with her interest in literature and writing. She currently lives in NYC with her family.
