Catch the Reading Bug @Your Library

Summer 2008 was a big success in the libraries of Herkimer, Madison and Oneida Counties. Children watched puppet shows, produced Readers Theater productions, attended Flea Circuses, designed there own bugs, watched movies, ate buggy treats and read books, lots and lots of books.

Coming in 2009

Plans are already well underway for 2009's summer reading porgram. Discover the joys of being creative at your public library .Discover books that encourage you to draw, paint,play music, dance, sing, write or create pictures in your mind as you read books about princesses, pirates, Martians, kids in far away places or kids who might live right next door. Attend special programs, participate in contests, share the excitement or just curl up and read. Whatever you choose it will be a summer to remenber
