Using Mid-York's Catalog Here are some hits to make using the electronic catalog easier.
Mid-York Web Catalog Includes holdings of public libraries in Herkimer, Madison, and Oneida counties. Look for books, videos and other materials, request titles and verify account information.
Electronic Resources
These are paid data bases made available through Mid-York and the New York State Library. They contain full text magazine articles and other licensed content.
New York Homeschoolers Education Network
A network of homeschoolers in New York State who practice a variety of styles of homeschooling.
LEAH or Loving Education at Home An organization of like-minded Christian home educators, dedicated to observing the biblical commands of Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Proverbs 22:6 and Ephesians 6:4.
Apple Family and Homeschool Group Is a family group, where families of like interests, can come together in a variety of ways.

Education World Self described as the "educator's best friend," this site is aimed at classroom educators but has lots of great content for homeschoolers.
Lifelines A selection of sites designed to help teachers meet the demands of New York Standards and help students do their homework, it can also help homeschoolers.
ABC Teach Another site aimed at classroom educators offers a rich array of resources for anyone who is teaching children.
Ben's Guide to U.S. Government Sites This guide allows easy access to the rich range of government sites available for children.
Multnomah County Library's Homework Sites A particularly rich and well organized selection of sites useful for homework.
Homework Tools A resource list to browse for useful tools.
National Geographic Map Machine A useful source of maps.
FunBrain Games One of the best collections of interactive word and number games on the web. The games work on modem-based connections and kids don't have to register to play, A Java-enable browser is needed.
Funschool Games and Activities A collection of learning games for grades k-6. These work best with a high speed connection. Needs Java, Flash, and Shockwave. Registration is needed but there are no banner ads. I found Internet Explorer worked best.
