The Author:

Dr. Ferdinando L. Mirarchi is Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine of Hamot Medical Center in Erie, PA. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of the Department of Emergency Medicine, West Penn Allegheny Health System, Allegheny General Hospital, Drexel University School of Medicine. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine and the American College of Emergency Physicians. The Associated Press, ABC news, USATODAY, American Medical Association News, as well as the Pittsburgh Tribune have extensively interviewed Dr. Mirarchi.
