Who are we?

The Friends of the Library (FOL) is a group of citizens in our community who are concerned with the library’s well-being: its active expansion and participation in community life. They believe that good library service is important to everyone.

What do we do?

The Friends organize gifts of time, talent and money in ways most beneficial to the library, as seen by the staff and trustees. Examples of these include: reading to pre-school children, providing refreshments at library events, helping with annual book sales, delivering books to shut-ins, making posters for up-coming events, assisting with adult and/or children’s programs.

Why is membership so important?

With your help, the Library can continue to meet the needs of the public, as well as provide entertainment and educational value to the community and surrounding areas.
